Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, is an actor famous for her character Bo in the Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she plays the role of drama instructor in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her most fond memories of watching TV and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk made several commercials while she was still a child. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 to continue her acting. Then she moved into Los Angeles California during the following decade. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she met him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. The couple got married in December of 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at a Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk had the son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while shooting the final season of the third season. The actress announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the series was returning in production. The fourth season premiered on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an enormous online following on social media.
